Dart Frogs and Gators Light Up the Diamond in Unforgettable Matchup

Friday night brought the big-league feel to Rookie Ball at Windsor West Little League, as the In Touch Chiropractic Dart Frogs and the Horizon Roofing Gators squared off under the lights for an 8:00 p.m. showdown that felt more like a major league event than a youth baseball game.

With walk-up music setting the tone and post-game fireworks lighting up the sky, the atmosphere was electric from the first pitch. Players strutted up to the plate to their favorite songs, fans filled the stands with homemade signs and cheers, and the community came together to support the next generation of ballplayers.

On the field, the Dart Frogs put together a strong performance and came away with the win, but in the end, the scoreboard wasn’t what mattered most. What made this night special was the joy, energy, and sense of community that filled Mic Mac Park.

“This is what Little League is all about,” said Matt Grandmaison, Dart Frogs assistant coach.  “The kids felt like superstars, and that’s something they’ll never forget.”

The Rookie Ball Night Game was a celebration of baseball, teamwork, and fun—and a reminder that the biggest wins often come from the smiles on the players’ faces.
